To begin the publishing process, simply register yourself and submit your print-ready interior (PDF) and cover file (PDF) via form, email, or WhatsApp. Make sure your files are complete and ready for print, as they will be used directly for publishing.

Free publishing means exactly what it says, publishing your book without charging you any fees for the core services. Our mission is to support aspiring writers by removing the financial barrier to becoming a published author. If you already have a typeset interior file and a ready-to-use cover design, we will publish your book at zero cost, except for a one-time title setup charge of ₹900, which is mandatory.

We understand that many talented writers have completed manuscripts but struggle to get published due to high costs or lack of guidance. This initiative is our way of empowering new authors and helping them share their stories with the world without worrying about expensive publishing packages or hidden fees.

Under the free publishing program, the author is responsible for designing the book cover and interior layout themselves using free tools like Canva or any other available options, as this is a complete Do-It-Yourself (DIY) process.

Our standard print size is 5.5 x 8.5 inches, 6 x 9 inches and 8.5 x 11 inches. Authors must submit a print-ready interior file in PDF format, properly typeset and formatted for print, including correct margins, font size, and page layout.

For the cover, please provide a single, continuous image that includes the front, back, and spine. Do not include the barcode or MRP — leave that area blank, as we will add the ISBN and price during the publishing process. Spine text will only appear on books with more than 80 pages. All rights to the author’s book will remain with the author. Prachi Digital Publications exists to market the author’s book through distributor partners, we work as a publisher between the author and the reader. We work with a non-exclusive self-publishing publishing agreement, which means that Prachi Digital Publication does not own any of your content and you may publish it elsewhere if you wish.

After receiving the author’s print-ready interior (PDF) and cover file (PDF/JPG), Prachi Digital Publication initiates the publishing process, which includes file review, approval, ISBN assignment, and listing setup. The complete process typically takes 10 to 20 working days, after which the book is published and made available on leading eCommerce platforms.

The inventory is Printed-On-Demand (POD) based on sales velocity to ensure that the book does not go out of stock. Prachi Digital Publication works with its various print partners across the country to make sure your book is printed and delivered to your readers within the turn around time.

Author will get author fifty (50%) percent share of net profit as a royalty or will be paid as per royalty mentioned in the customized plan (Plan as per requirement of the author) made available to the author. The Net Profit (Royalty) is calculated after deduction of production cost and distribution cost charges by individual distribution channel or sales partners and taxes. The Net Profit (Royalty) is calculated as : Net Profit (Royalty) = MRP – Distribution Cost – Production Cost and Taxes.

Publisher shall pay to the author royalties earned on a quarterly basis, within ninety (90) working days after the end of each calendar quarter for the domestic sales and on a semi-annual basis, within ninety (90) working days after the end of each calendar semi-annual for the global sales. Payment of royalties to the author will be done by NEFT/RTGS.

Authors only need to pay the cost of author copies along with applicable shipping charges. Once the payment is received, we will proceed with printing and deliver the author copies to the address provided by the author.

Please note, the minimum order quantity is 10 author copies to avail the special author pricing. Orders below this quantity will not qualify for the author copy rate. The printing and shipping process typically takes 15–25 days.
